One thing I'd really like to say is the fact before buying more laptop memory, look into the machine within which it can be installed. In the event the machine is actually running Windows XP, for instance, the actual memory ceiling is 3.25GB. Using above this would basically constitute any waste. Make sure one's mother board can handle an upgrade volume, as well. Great blog post.
